Itinerary and travel data, Andalusia Trip:

 

DAY 1: MALAGA - RONDA

Arrival at the airport of Malaga and collection of the rental car in the corresponding office. Then drive to Ronda, where you’ll enjoy one night in a 3*/4* city hotel with breakfast included.

• Estimated Km: 100 Km.
• Interesting on the drive: If you use the AP-7 highway (tollway) you’ll drive by a coastal road where you cross different villages of great interest (Marbella).

Places of interest in Ronda:

• Plaza de toros [Bullring].
• Puente Nuevo [New bridge].
• Visit to Arab Baths.
• Casa del Rey Moro [House of Moorish King].
• Palace of Mondragon.
• Casa del Gigante [House of the Giant].
• Church of Santa Maria La Mayor.
• Mirador del Tajo .
• Wine tourism route in the surroundings of Ronda.

DAYS 2 AND 3: GRANADA

In the morning breakfast in the hotel and depart from Ronda to Granada, where you’ll spend two night in a 3*/4* city hotel with breakfast included.

Guided visit of the Alhambra and Generalife included with an officcial english speaking guide.

• Estimated Km: 170 Km.
• Interesting on the drive: we highlight the village of Antequera, which would be a great place to rest and appreciate its impressive Dolmens and the named Torcal of Antequera. 

Places of interest in Granada:

• Alhambra.
• Historical Center: (the Cathedral and the Royal Chapel).
• Plaza Nueva and Paseo de los Tristes [city walk].
• Albayzin and Sacromonte [Arab and Gipsy’s quarters].

 

The gastronomic offer is very varied, you may find:

- Numerous restaurants in the area of Albayzin with wonderful views of the Alhambra.

- Enjoy the delicious TAPAS [snacks] in any restaurant of the city.

- Enjoy the art of flamenco together with a good dinner; there are several restaurants that offer these services.

DAY 4: UBEDA AND BAEZA

After breakfast in the hotel, you’ll drive to Baeza, the next stop on the road. One night accommodation in a 3*/4* city hotel with breakfast.

• Estimated Km: 140 Km.
• Interesting on the drive: you’ll find the city of Jaen where we can visit the Cathedral of Jaen of the Castle of Santa Catalina.

Places of interest in Baeza:

• Plaza de los Leones [Lion’s Square] or Plaza del Populo: (Puerta de Jaen [Jaen’s Door], Fuente de los Leones [Lion’s Fountain], Antigua Carniceria [Ancient Butcher’s Shop]).
• Villalar Arch.
• Ancient University.
• Palace of Jabalquinto.

Places of interest in Ubeda:

• Vázquez de Molina Square.
• Sacred Chapel of El Salvador.
• Hospital of the Honorable and Venerable Old Men of “El Salvador”.
• Church of Santa Maria de los Reales.
• Carcel del Obispo [Bishop’s Prison].
• Palace of the Marquis of Mancera.
• Antiguo Posito [old municipal granary].

DAY 5: CORDOBA

After a good breakfast in the hotel, depart to Cordoba, where you enjoy one night accommodation in a 3*/4* city hotel with breakfast. A guided visit of the Mosque is included, with an official guide.

• Estimated Km: 150 Km.
• Interesting on the drive: the village of Andujar, bathed by the Guadalquivir River.

Places of interest in Cordoba:

• Palace of Viana.
• Historical Center.
• Cordoban Patios.
• Mosque of Cordoba. Guided visit included, with an official guide.
• Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos [Christian Kings’ Fortress].
• Synagogue.
• Medina Azahara.

There are numerous restaurants to enjoy the typical food of the area.

DAYS 6 AND 7: SEVILLE

After enjoying the breakfast in the hotel, the following stop is the capital of Andalusia, Seville. Accommodation of two nights in a 3*/4* city hotel with breakfast included. There is a guided tour of the Cathedral included, with an official guide.

• Estimated Km: 140 Km.
• Interesting on the drive: you may appreciate the village of Ecija, where we recommend a stop in the way to rest.

Places of interest in Seville:

• Cathedral. Guided tour included.
• Giralda.
• Real Alcazar.
• Plaza España [Spain Square].
• Horse-carriage’s route through Seville.
• Cruise along the Guadalquivir River.
• Neighborhood of Santa Cruz.
• Neighborhood of Triana.

Seville is one the most famous cities due to its typical Andalusian gastronomy, any place shall be a good option to taste the delights of this land.

DAY 8: SEVILLE – MALAGA (Airport)

After breakfast and the checkout of the hotel, drive to Malaga to terminate this unforgettable trip.
